1. Scholarships are for up to three (3) years for $1,000 for unmet qualified college ex-penses (tuition fees, room and board or books), subject availability of funds.
2. Applicants must be full-time Georgia students enrolled in the undergraduate pro-grams with a minimum of six months as a Georgia resident.
3. Applicants must have a Grade Point Average (GPA) of 2.0 or higher.
4. Scholarship does not cover Summer School expenses.
5. Applicant must re-apply for scholarship each year.
6. Applications must be received from January 1st to August 31st of the calendar year.

• A cover letter stating why you are applying for the scholarship.
• A two (2) page typewritten Essay stating career goals and how the scholarship will help achieve those goals (the essay should be double-spaced, in twelve (12) point Times Roman font).
• A copy of the most recent ‘Grade Report’ or ‘High School Transcript’ postmarked no later than August 31st.
• Freshmen and Transferring students entering Miles College for the first time must provide a copy of ‘Final Acceptance Letter’ from Miles College Office of Admission faxed or postmarked no later than August 31st.

You will be judged on:

• Promptness
• Ability to Follow Instructions
• Written Essay (Spelling and organization)
• Cover Letter (salutation, dated and signed)
• Meeting all the criteria’s for the scholarship
